Biography
Laura Arditti is a Graph Data Scientist at LARUS Business Automation, where she applies network science to marketing and fraud detection by combining data representation in the Neo4j graph database with analysis based on graph algorithms.
At the same time, Laura is a PhD candidate in Applied Mathematics at Politecnico di Torino, where she studies models of strategic interactions on graphs.

2022 Talk: Determining The Value Of Users For A Payment App: The YAP Case Study.
How to capture the value of users on a network-based platform? Graph technologies and algorithms allow to go beyond user-centric approaches by extracting value from users’ connections. In this talk we present the case of YAP (https://www.yap-app.it/), a mobile payment app by Nexi, and we discuss how we built a graph-based measure of users’ value to drive business strategies.
