Biography
Dr. Charles Tapley Hoyt is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Laboratory of Systems Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School based out of Germany. He received his Ph.D. in Computational Life Sciences from the University of Bonn. His research interests cover the interface of biocuration, knowledge graphs, and machine learning with systems biology, networks biology, and drug discovery. He is an advocate of open source software, reproducibility, and open science. His open source projects such as PyBEL and PyKEEN are used by several academic and industrial groups.

2022 Talk: Knowledge Graph Embedding With PyKEEN In 2022
The PyKEEN project began in 2018 coincident with a boom in the development, evaluation, and application of knowledge graph embedding models (KGEMs) to a variety of real-world tasks. Along with the goal of reimplementing and reproducing landmark models and experiments, PyKEEN endeavored to both philosophically and technically define a unified, extensible, reusable framework for KGEMs and their components. In this talk, we will cover all the caveats of using KG embedding models in production
