Cellar is the Central Digital Repository of the Publication Office of the European Union, responsible of the storage and the dissemination of content and metadata for publications from EU Institutions.
Following the Open Link Data principles and using Semantic Web technologies, resources in Cellar are represented and interconnected based to an ontology compliant to the FRBR metamodel. Resources are retrievable in different representation via RESTFul interfaces and SPARQL endpoint. This paper presents how the Cellar data representation affects data processing such as validation, inference, indexation and querying. In addition, it presents the plans for the future evolution of Cellar.
