Call for Speakers: Come Present at Knowledge Graph Conference 2025!

Knowledge graphs are on the rise like never before – from startups showcasing their knowledge graphs as a core asset, to large organizations creating KGs for harmonious and actionable knowledge.

But you already knew that: you’re an expert on ontologies, knowledge graphs, AI, semantic technologies, or connected data. Now it’s time to share that expertise with others at the Knowledge Graph Conference happening on May 5-9, 2025 at Cornell Tech in New York City.

With KGC 2025 on the horizon, we’re officially issuing our Call for Speakers. The deadline to submit your proposal is January 17, 2025, 11:59 p.m. U.S. EST

Trends & Topics We’re Especially Looking for

For the 7th edition of the Knowledge Graph Conference, we’re looking for ideas from every corner of the KG industry – so please come present your knowledge graph story! We welcome both technical and business-focused presentations and both in-person and virtual/online presentations are acceptable.

Three major tides and trends we see happening in the KG space right now include:

  • Knowledge graphs enabling data-focused applications of artificial intelligence, increasing the accuracy and completeness of LLMs by plugging in organizational knowledge.
  • Ontologies are a hot topic again: After years of being seen as academic artifacts, they have emerged as the rational side of AI.
  • Rules enable true reasoning, overcoming the intrinsic limitations of large language models, while the extraction of rules from data has never been so easy thanks to the same language models.

Need some more specific ideas? Here is a non-exhaustive list of topics we are interested in:

  • Core knowledge graph technology: languages, techniques and tools
  • Business use cases, success stories, and case studies
  • Presentations of specific knowledge graphs, ontologies, and taxonomies
  • Knowledge engineering methodologies
  • Emerging research and ideas (controversial or not)
  • Related topics such as data fabric, semantic layer, data observability, data orchestration, and AI infrastructure, to name a few
